Information about our Black Breed, Tajima Shimane

Mazda’s black Wagyu are principally Tajima Shimane infused bloodlines. This selection in breeding ensures the high marbling ability of the Tajima cattle with the large framed and excellent milking ability of the Shimane strain.

To achieve maximum marbling and carcass yield, pure, F1 & F2 black Wagyu need to spend at least 350 to 400 days in a recognized specialist feedlot.

The black Wagyu genetics are suitable for joining to Angus, Murry Grey and Holstein(Friesian)
