Information about our Japanese Kumamoto Reds

The Kumamoto Strain originates from Kyushu, Japan. It is a large western type of cattle, and is mobile and robust. It's biggest advantage over the Black Wagyu strains is its ability to marble on natural grass.

The red Wagyu genetics are suitable for joining to Herefords, Shorthorns, Brahman, Droughtmaster, Brangus, Senepol, Santa Gertrudis. They thrive in tropical climates withstanding ticks and other parasites.
